Hi, I'm Cyril Rollinde, 36, maried and 2 children. I currently live in Pondicherry, India.

My activity is to support social enterprises and young start ups, french or indian, as a business developper in south india.

My main activity today is to be the business developer of Prakti Design, an innovative product design company based in Pondicherry and targeting bottom of the pyramid population in rural india with energy products. Visit their website (www.praktidesign.com). 

I also spent 10 years in France to animate a venture fund dedicated to start ups in Paris region (www.scientipole-initiative.org). I  was involved in numerous entrepreneurial network, and tried to find a way to support individual entrepreneurs without asking for forms, useless question, avoidable advices, but with meeting with peers, skilled people and... personnal loan !

In few words, this website is a blog, presenting experiences of entrepreneurship in India, relating to social purposes or based on technological innovations. It is written in english by a french author living in Pondicherry.

India fascinate me because she is the mold of initiatives that make entrepreneurship spirit and social responsability coexist. One can here easily speak at the same time of start ups, growth, rural areas, poverty... That what I'll do, quite unfocus and moving from one experience from another, trying to bring some informations also about trends, big and new players...

I tried to organize a bit the content of my previous blog in this website !
